Who will get the benefit of this scheme?
To avail the benefit of Ujjawala scheme, the applicant must be 18 years of age and must be a woman. The applicant must be a BPL card holder rural resident. The woman applicant should have a savings bank account in any nationalized bank in the country to receive the subsidy amount. The applicant family home should not already have an LPG connection.
What documents will be required?
Based on this scheme, the applicant is required to have a BPL ration card. Apart from this, it is necessary to have BPL certificate, one photo identity card (Aadhar card or water card), 1 photo of current passport size, Jandhan account or bank account number etc. issued by the Panchayat Minister / Municipal Chairman.
